The story follows Frieren, an elven mage who was part of the original hero's party. While ten years of adventuring felt like a lifetime to her mortal companions (the hero Himmel, the priest Heiter, and the warrior Eisen), it was only a blink of an eye for her long-lived elven lifespan.
